Mitchells have done a fantastic job with our sponsored T-shirts, they show the logo off really well and also include all the contact details as well as the names & logos of all our sponsors.

very professional !

When we called in at Mitchells last week to pick them up Dave insisted on a few snaps for their web site.  Nell and Erin weren’t too impressed though and as you can see they were bored and just wanted to go home and watch Mr Tumble!

A sponsored car would be nice.

Nell and Erin looking very uninterested !

Thanks once again to Mark, Jackie & everyone at Mitchells and to Brian & Steve at SL Embroidery for producing the t-shirts.

Nell in hospital !

Nell’s just been very poorly having spent Friday & Saturday in Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, she suffered what we think was a severe nut allergy reaction but has to go back for tests to confirm this.  It’s a massive shock to us and we’re totally going to have to change the whole families eating habits.  Obviously at the moment training is the last thing on my mind but it has also made me more determined than ever to complete this ride for Nell, Erin and especially Helen who was brilliant this weekend.

Cycle surgery have very kindly offered to help us out on the ride, we’ve not sorted out specifics yet but they have said they will supply us with bike spares and energy stuff such as drinks & gels.  A massive thanks to Steve and all the team at the Wirral store, this will save us a lot of money which we were going to have to pay for out of our own pockets.
